a cultivated mindset

Seems like a simple word “identify” but it being subtle is why it is important. Sometimes you want to identify with a group. You want to belong. Sometimes you don’t. Sometimes being unique is your goal. Being out of place and out of touch. Not being identified.

We should all have an alias, just for the simple fact that it is fun. Create a new you, with a new name. Imagine yourself. Create yourself. Inspire yourself to dress differently. Speak differently. Think differently. Identify yourself differently.

For instance, suppose you climb a mountain. You are at the top. You can see for miles. You see birds gliding. You see a sea of green trees so full of leaves. You see the sun set into a twilight sequence of orange, pink, and then a fading blue. You see the night fall.

So, is the view from the top of the mountain beautiful? Yes. Is it the only mountain with a great view? – No. There are others to identify.
