04 · The process

From fit call to shipping in four moves.

Every engagement follows the same path. The shape of the engagement changes; the discipline doesn't.

Step 01

Fit Call

30 minutes on Zoom. We ask three things: what are you building, what's the timeline, what's the budget shape. By the end you know if we're a fit. If we're not, we'll say so and point you at someone who is.

Step 02

Discovery Sprint

Two weeks. Senior PM-led. You get: a scoped roadmap, a technical spike (working prototype of the riskiest piece), and a fixed-fee proposal for the next phase. You can stop here — the deliverables are yours either way.

2 weeks · From $7,500
Step 03

Pilot Sprint

Four to twelve weeks. A senior engineer + designer ship the roadmap from Step 2. Fixed-fee, fixed-scope, weekly progress checkpoints. End of the sprint: a working product or a defined release-ready feature.

4–12 weeks · $25k–$100k fixed
Step 04

Fractional Team

Optional. If you want to keep shipping, the same team continues on a monthly retainer. Predictable cost, no contract minimum past 60 days, and you can pause or end with 30 days' notice.

Monthly · $20k–$50k/mo

What's different about it.

A few things you'll notice early.

  • 01
Senior people doing the workNo junior pods, no offshore handoffs. The person on the call is the person on the keyboard.
  • 02
AI accelerates, doesn't replaceWe use Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot to compress first drafts and repetitive logic. Every line is reviewed and owned by a senior engineer. We won't ship code we can't explain.
  • 03
Fixed fees, not hourlyYou know the price before we start. If the scope changes, we tell you what changes and price it. No surprise invoices.
  • 04
Weekly demosEvery Friday at 11am Eastern. You see what we shipped that week. No quarterly status reports.
  • 05
You own everythingCode, designs, documentation, accounts. We don't lock you into our tooling. You can fire us and keep building on day one.
